On October 24, 1999, seven Wings For Greyhounds alumni (along with Mission Commander Lanky Lance) gathered together for a special reunion during the annual greyhound picnic at Retired Racers, Inc. Acton, CA. The eight dogs are also television personalities, having been featured in one of several documentaries and TV programs showcasing Wings For Greyhounds rescue flights. The latest star is Dee, who will appear in the upcoming Canadian Television series "Dogs With Jobs," airing in Canada in early 2000, and on PBS stations in the United States in the fall of 2000.
